The name "Becoming Homes" symbolizes
Julia’s
design philosophy, to transform “Houses” into “Homes”,
providing maximum utilization in an aesthetically pleasing
way.
The appropriate “style” for any client is unique
to that individual, couple, family or, in the case of professional
spaces, the individual practice or firm. For Becoming
Homes, the first step in the design process is getting to
know clients, their interests and lifestyles, which help
to define their design objectives. The goal is to
produce an environment reflective of the client while applying
design principles that are both cutting edge and timeless.
For
Becoming Homes, interior design is more than a project; it
is a process that begins by developing a close working relationship
with the client.
Before we go to the drafting board, we need
to observe how the clients live and what their interests
and passions are. Defining their personal lifestyle and evaluating
their design goals are the first steps in the process. |
